The Ultimate Airsofter's Flow Chart - Revision 1

I've played Airsoft again this weekend, and I've witnessed a quarrel in the last game of the day. The controversy was over where one of the teams started. Some of the members of one team hid in the center of the field until the game started, to get a head start at fortifying the center. When the game started, the other team was immediately pinned down by the cheaters, spoiling what could have been a perfectly good game of Airsoft.

Yeah, we're totally operating n-- hey wait, they didn't start where they're supposed to! >:(

An argument ensued, forcing the refs to stop the game prematurely. Some of the members of the team that was pinned whined that the cheaters cheated. However there were a couple things that I noticed about this argument that I've found interesting:
  • Everyone in the argument (from both teams) was at least eighteen years old. (probably 21+)
  • Everyone in the argument were fully tacticooled out in either Multi-cam™ or black.
Rather than being able to enjoy Airsoft for what it is, these "adults" have to cheat in an attempt to win (as the possibility of losing a game of Airsoft is too much for their egos to bare). The whiners instead of taking on the extra challenge of dealing with cheaters and winning anyway, have to force everyone else to stop playing to try to negotiate with the cheaters. Why can't they just vent about it on some blog? (yeah, I'm totally not venting right now)

However despite not being personally involved with this altercation, I feel personally responsible for these "adults'" actions. I've posted a flow chart a couple months ago for how to play Airsoft, and had these "adults" studied it, this argument might have been avoided. However there were a few missing details in the first version of the flowchart; It did not instruct players on what to do before and after a game, nor did it have an age rating. These "adults" might have seen this flowchart but ignored it, thinking that they don't need to study it since they're 'old enough' or they 'know what they're doing'. I've made these additions to the flowchart below for your viewing pleasure.

Why the 18+ age rating? Because it's always "adults" who cause problems.
