When looking to make your next airsoft related purchase, you're probably going to look at one of the large airsoft retailers like Evike or Airsplat. While these retailers can be useful, I would recommend looking at another source for airsoft stuff: AliExpress.
With all of the anti-business regulations in the US, most of the manufacturing businesses moved overseas, primarily to China. This works out for us (in the short term) since we get extremely low prices for things made in China, due to their lack of labor and environmental laws. AliExpress, part of the Alibaba Group, is their direct selling retail service that sells anything made (primarily) in China.
The strengths of using AliExpress are the low prices and their buyer protection. Since you're taking advantage of China's lack of labor laws and you're not paying any US retailers to hold the item(s) you're buying, you save a significant amount of money. In addition, AliExpress has a buyer protection system in place to ensure you get the item you ordered. I've placed multiple orders with various sellers and I've always ended up getting what I wanted.
There are also some weaknesses however. As the products are being shipped from China, you're going to have to be patient when waiting for your items; on average, it can take 2-4 weeks for your items to arrive. Another disadvantage is that all items that come into the US have to pass through US customs. As a result when buying from Ali Express, you accept the possibility that the item may be sent back or confiscated by the government.
I'll be posting articles showing various airsoft products from Evike, Airsplat, Airsoft Megastore, Amazon and AliExpress to help save you money. Then you can use the saved money to play more!
